Xochimilco

Colorful gondola-like boats take visitors on cruises while food vendors, artisans and mariachi bands float past. The atmosphere is festive, especially on weekends. Note that this area is about one hour from Mexico City and we recommend booking your boat in advance!

The Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as the Blue House for the structure's cobalt-blue walls, is a historic house museum and art museum dedicated to the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. It is located in the Colonia del Carmen neighborhood of Coyoacán in Mexico City.

Neighbourhoods to Explore

Roma Norte: Roma Norte is the center of Mexico City's culinary and artistic scene. Its central avenue, Avenida Álvaro Obregón, is lined with eateries and sidewalk bars. Mercado Roma is a great spot for international food stalls.


Reforma: This is one of Mexico City's most dynamic districts. It is considered almost like the Times Square of Mexico City, characterized by wide, straight streets and stunning modern glass architecture. On Sundays, the street transforms into a vibrant pedestrian zone, with street vendors, artisans, and a festival-like atmosphere filling the boulevard


Condesa: Condesa is known as a hipster neighborhood with a relaxed vibe, art galleries, green spaces, artisan boutiques, and trendy restaurants.


Polanco: Avenida Presidente Masaryk is the main shopping avenue, filled with world-famous brands and upscale restaurants. Side streets host Spanish Colonial Revival mansions.
