Vedant and I both attended Western University (graduated the same year!), had many mutual friends and yet we did not meet until 2020 on a Hinge date in Toronto. Within the first 10 minutes of the date, he informed me he was moving to California and I mentally thought "alright, this date is over." Despite the upcoming move, we couldn't deny the chemistry and kept seeing each other.

Fortunately, Vedant moved to San Fransisco a year after us meeting (thank you Covid). Right before the move, we took our first trip together to Paris to celebrate my birthday.

We did long distance for more than 2 years! However, every time I visited SF, Vedant picked me up from the airport with my favorite coffee in hand :)

Two years into dating we took a very special trip to India. We showed each other our childhood homes and met extended family on both sides.

I finally moved to San Francisco after passing the California bar exam and we ended long distance!
